We miss summer. The warmth, the sun, the outdoor activities that did not involve parkas, all of this is in the nostalgic season past.

During the summer, the ESI Lab was out in the world making and creating. In particular, three of our designers took part in the Figment Arts Festival. The festival takes place on Governor’s Island each summer. It is a celebration of interactive creativity. The island is transformed into a sculpture garden for three months and people of all stripes celebrate creation.

The ESI Lab created Reverberate, an interactive sound sculpture. The video below is the story of its creation. Watch with thoughts of the warm summer.
