ESI Design is one of the world’s foremost experience design firms and a pioneer at creating interactive environments that inspire people to build strong relationships with exceptional institutions.

Our company was founded in 1977 by Edwin Schlossberg, a pioneer in the design of collaborative public experiences and communications networks. ESI employs more than 50 professionals from multiple disciplines, including interactive, industrial and graphic designers, architects and artists, communications and systems specialists, writers and educators.

Throughout our 33-year history, ESI has designed and opened hundreds of discovery-based experiences for a diverse range of audiences and participants. Our designs share several common themes: they create meaningful communication, encourage hands-on interaction, and connect communities of interest through seamlessly integrated physical and online experiences.
