ESI Design is a NYC based experience design firm.  We create both small & large scale visitor exhibits, web-based and computer interactives, combining different digital media, and physical environments.  Our projects range from cultural institutions to retail & corporate environments, all meant to engage, educate & inspire the audience.

Looking for a mid-level designer who can:
Assist in the development of screen interface designs and digital media for web and internet applications; Design web screen layouts, interface elements and prototypes from wireframes in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash; Work with interaction designers and computer programmers to prepare Flash and Photoshop files for production.

Specific Skills Needed:
Should be visually sophisticated in user interface design, web design, typography and data visualization; Should be aware of creative design process (concept to production) and demonstrate an ability to work with a design team; Advanced experience with Mac based Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. After Effects a plus; Web development skills- (HTML, CSS) preferred. Experience with dynamic web development a plus; Organized and articulate; Ability to work comfortably under deadlines and direction from senior designers; Great conceptual skills, experimental with a good understanding of visual interface design.
