Senior Concept Designer

ESI Design is looking for a Senior Concept Designer to work as part of a cross-disciplinary team developing experience concept designs for corporate and institutional clients. The Senior Concept Designer will be responsible for leading design teams in concept and design development of ideas from exhibits, public spaces, retail environments and technology-based projects.

We are looking for a creative designer who can develop ideas that encourage people to interact, tell stories, play and share experiences both in physical and digital environments.

The Designer should understand user experience, basic design processes and a firm grasp of the built environment and technology as it relates to digital, networked and physical computing experiences.

Responsibilities:

Concept design, overall brainstorming and concepts; Facilitation of collaborative design process with interdisciplinary design team; Preparation of design documentation and presentation materials from early concept through final design; Participation in business development and marketing efforts from prospective client pitches to developing thought leadership in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in leading and facilitating the design process; Strong design documentation skills; Good presentation skills; Excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to work well with team members; Understanding of physical and digital production techniques; Proven portfolio of projects that demonstrate strong creative design skills and innovative concepts fro integrating digital and physical environments into physical environments; 9+ years experience in the field.
