An exhibit that invites visitors to experience three decades of R&B influence in country music's capital city.

The Night Train to Nashville exhibit introduces Country Music Hall of Fame visitors to a little-known aspect of Nashville’s history. The exhibit focuses on the emergence of R&B during the three decades after World War II and its continuing influence on country and rock music.

Organized into six thematic areas, including the Roots of R&B and Country Connections, the design traces the story of Nashville’s musical traditions and social environment. For example, the Country Connections exhibit focuses on the songwriters and performers who brought R&B to national attention and created strong links to Nashville’s country music community.
