Videos and digital tools use the voices of diverse colleagues to tell the story of Pfizer’s combination with Wyeth, creating the world’s premier health care company.

With the combination of Pfizer and Wyeth, colleagues found themselves joining together in a new and vibrant vision of the company’s future. ESI helped Pfizer communicate the transition through a set of dynamic tools called the Pfizer Digital Diary – a documentary-style project based on interviews with leaders across both companies. During the interviews, these leaders used digital tools to respond to questions with evocative words, leading them to reflect more deeply on their experience. ESI then wove the interviews together, creating a series of films that gave colleagues the opportunity to tell their stories, share their aspirations for the new company, and reflect upon an exciting moment of transition.

Once launched, internally at Pfizer and on the web, the films introduced Pfizer’s new global leadership team and their shared vision to both the larger Pfizer community and the general public. The films created a compelling narrative about the combined company, showcasing the many ways that Pfizer will be able to advance its mission even more successfully – from extending its healthcare solutions for every stage of life, to expanding its role as the leader in innovative bio-pharmaceutical science, to advancing Pfizer’s global presence.

ESI also created digital tools for Pfizer’s intranet so that employees could view shorter interview clips according to their own interests, sorting the clips by person or theme. The Pfizer Digital Diary enabled the entire Pfizer community to express themselves and created a company-wide conversation about Pfizer’s future.
